Dark bathrooms

Dark tiles for walls and floors create an exclusive and sophisticated feel in the bathroom and can be combined with a wide range of bathroom furniture. Our stone-inspired porcelain stoneware in darker shades has a natural authenticity and creates a relaxing environment.

To create contrasts, you can combine dark floor and wall tiles and vanity tops with lighter bathroom furniture, ranging from vanities and cabinets to handles, taps, and showers. Alternatively, you can let the entire bathroom follow a consistent dark colour scheme for a more sleek and uniform look.

At Bricmate, we have gathered our favourite dark bathrooms, a collection for those looking for inspiration for an upcoming renovation or simply a chance to let your mind wander.

1. Nature-inspired bathroom with built-in bathtub

In this beautiful and unique bathroom, the bathtub is clad in 12 mm thick slabs that match the walls, floor, and vanity top. All of these materials are from the Runö Dark Grey series, a porcelain stoneware inspired by limestone, featuring a pleasant grey tone with fossil-like details and subtle colour variations throughout the tiles.

The grey shades are combined with elegant wooden details, including wood panelling on the ceiling and oak vanity and wall cabinets. Some walls are painted in Jotun Vallmofrö, a lighter grey shade that creates a beautiful contrast to the darker tiles.

2. Classic grey-green tones set the mood

A bathroom that brings harmony and timeless elegance. Here, the grey-green color creates a classic atmosphere. Details in brushed black chrome, taps, shower, and heated towel rail, add a sleek touchto it. The vanity in Smoked Oak adds sophistication, and its countertop, in the same finish as the rest of the bathroom, creates a cohesive and exclusive impression.

At the centre of this bathroom is Azul Olive. Inspired by the Portuguese limestone Azul Valverde, this porcelain stoneware features a refined grey tone with subtle fossil-like details. Its matte surface captures the light naturally, creating a pleasant and calm atmosphere.
